Due to expansion our Norwich City Centre based client has openings for 2 Private Client Legal Secretaries.

A good level of Legal Secretarial experience is essential for these job roles, although a background other than Private Client will be considered.

The main responsibilities of this position are:

Preparing and/or co-ordinating text production through dictation, audio-typing, word processing, photocopying, etc. This work is to be carried out primarily for their immediate supervisor, a full time fee earner, and 2 other part time fee earners.

Assisting clients on the telephone and in person in respect of the handling of their matter. Communicating legal advice to clients only on the clear instructions of their immediate supervisor.

Maintaining their immediate supervisor's diary and monitoring appointments and key dates.

Maintaining all files of their immediate supervisor in accordance with the standards set out in the Office Manual and specifically to ensure that all correspondence and documentation are properly filed.

Carrying out all administrative tasks as instructed by their immediate supervisor during the normal working week and, where necessary, outside normal office hours, to ensure that the clients matter proceeds smoothly and efficiently.

The job holder will receive a salary of £23,800 per annum for a 35 hour working week and will also receive an excellent benefits package which includes an additional holiday entitlement for a Xmas shutdown.
