As an Executive Assistant in our Commodities and Global Markets group in London, you will report to the Head of TMT in London and the Office Manager for the Group.  You will primarily support the TMT team and will also provide additional support to the broader Specialised and Asset Finance team as needed.  You will play an essential role in keeping the team organised and operating effectively. You will be working with a group of dynamic and enthusiastic professionals, whose work is consistently recognised as industry leading.

In this role, you will be providing the full spectrum of administrative and secretarial assistance to the team. This will include travel arrangements, expense management and reporting, managing meeting bookings for both internal and external stakeholders and diary management for the Directors. Lastly, you will be assisting with onboarding of new starters, liaising with in-house services like IT, HR, Business Services and so on.

You will have the opportunity to work on high profile events and functions, both internally and externally.  This could range from conferences to team building events.  You will also provide on-site support to ensure all events run smoothly and help to ensure Macquarie is represented to the highest standard.

You will bring to the team at least 3 years of experience in a similar executive assistant role within an international organisation. You should be confident working with senior-level colleagues across difference offices and have exceptional communications skills.

Having excellent time management skills and organisational skills will be essential for this role. Solid skills in Word, PowerPoint and Outlook will be required. At times, you will need to manage conflicting priorities – so the ability to multi-task, remain detail orientated whilst working in a fast-paced environment will also be crucial.

You will have a positive, proactive attitude and enjoy solving problems and being a team player.
