Due to growth within the organisation, we have a fantastic new opportunity for an Early Years professional with a passion for driving quality Early Years education, to join our clients team as Quality Manager.

Position: Early Years Quality Manager

Location: Head Office, Huddersfield

Hours: 37 hours per week - flexibility in the form of 2 days’ home working, would be considered

Salary: £36,500.00

Contract: Permanent

The Role

The Early Years Quality Manager has overall management responsibility for development, ongoing review and quality management of products and publications.

They will also

 

  • Provide support to early years’ businesses from take up to accreditation.
  • Ensure robust systems are in place, monitored and audited against, and are in line with policy and strategy for the early years and the organisations requirement under the registered trademark with the Intellectual Properties Office.
  • Be the designated safeguarding person and will lead in this area of work for the charity.

 

Main duties include management of:

 

  • Accreditation schemes
  • Champions programmes
  • Publications
  • Business support for mock inspections
  • Safeguarding lead for the charity
  • Management of the Early Years Advisors (England) and the Early Years Advisor (International) in liaison with the Director of Business Development

 

About You

Educated to degree level or equivalent in the area of early years Early Year, the Quality Manager will have experience of working at a senior level either in a nursery setting, within the education/early years’ sector or in a local authority supporting day nurseries with quality improvement. You may have gained your relevant experience in roles such as an Ofsted Inspector or a setting where you have developed a sound knowledge of inspection in the early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.

You experience in these areas will have focused around your passion for driving quality early years’ education where you will have:

 

  • Assessed or coached settings to improve the quality of the care and education.
  • Taken a team on a journey of quality improvement.
  • Understand the policies and procedures required in a nursery.
  • Be able to act as safeguarding lead and be up to date with training in this area.
