The role

You will provide excellent customer service to our visitors, performing all operations requested by a customer without direct supervision. This includes, but is not limited to, arranging hospitality, assisting with events, setting up meeting rooms, courteous interaction with visitors to our premises and completing general administrative duties as required.

This role includes but is not limited to:


  • Setting up meeting rooms
  • Arranging hospitality
  • Organising catering
  • Supervising and assisting at events
  • Diary management and planning

Customer service

  • Deal with any customer enquiries in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Anticipate customers’ needs and offer assistance wherever possible
  • To be aware of the day to day health and safety requirements surrounding working area
  • To immediately raise any health and safety concerns to your manager or team leader
  • To participate in any on site health and safety audits or assessments

This role sits within our Front of House team, but will focus on behind the scenes duties as opposed to front of house reception work. However, you will be fully trained on the switchboard for when the firm experiences busy periods.

It is an integral part of this role that you comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.

About you

You should be proactive and flexible in working both individually and as part of a team, with minimal supervision, and be able to prioritise a number of different tasks effectively.

Communication will be one of your strong points, both written and verbal, and you will be enthusiastic about delivering an excellent service

We expect you to be able to use your initiative, and to develop solutions with the ability to plan ahead and anticipate problems. You will have a flexible, enthusiastic approach, and be passionate about delivering excellent customer service to your colleagues and our clients.

Due to the nature of this role, we do require you to be able to have some flexibility within your working hours, as we host breakfast and evening events that we would require you to assist with, and therefore may need you to start work earlier, or finish a little later when these events are on. We also may require you to have some flexibility to assist with covering holidays and sickness absence as required.
