Community/School Liaison Officer - 18 hours per week (Part time) Term Time Only - Hertford Regional College - Ware and Broxbourne Campuses - Permanent
An opportunity has come up for an enthusiastic individual to join Hertford Regional College as a Community and Schools Liaison Officer. The role is vital to create and maintain links with local schools and the recruitment of 16-18 age group of students onto our study programmes and vocational courses.
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining and extending relationships with leadership teams and careers contacts within local schools and the community. The role involves attending school assemblies, careers events and other school / community-based activity to promote post-16 education and applications to the college. The role also involves organising taster days for year 9, 10 and 11 learners to visit the college, and work with heads of sixth form schools to promote the college's Higher Education courses. Therefore, you will assist with the management and delivery of all related marketing activities, supporting the HRC brand.
We are seeking a flexible and adaptable person who holds level 3 qualifications in Information Advice and Guidance, Marketing, and Events Management. Ideally you will have experience of working with 14-16 age group, as well as experience of marketing in a Further Education college of events such as open days, community events, exhibitions, trade fairs etc. You will be able to work pro-actively with others, be assertive and use own initiative appropriately.

Hours: 18 hours per week, actual days to be agreed with successful candidate; Term Time Only - 42 weeks per year
Salary: £21,890 - £23,280 per annum FTE (actual salary £10,049.70 - £10,687.85 per annum)
Annual Leave: You will also receive a generous annual leave entitlement of 25 days (pro rata) that is incorporated into your salary payment
