Job Details

Do you want to build a career in human resources? Can you manage hectic schedules whilst delivering great customer service? Are passionate about all thing’s recruitment? If yes, then we may have the role for you!

Metro Bank's Recruitment team are pivotal to the growth of the Bank and to finding revolutionising colleagues to join us! As our Recruitment Coordinator, you will make sure that the team have all the necessary systems, reports and processes in place in order to provide an amazing hiring experience.

So what would you be doing?...

• Creating weekly reports that help the team

• Organising and facilitating internal and external events

• Answering the recruitment line and managing the recruitment inbox, escalating all queries to the relevant Recruiter

• Supporting the recruitment team by completing all credit checks from candidates

• Booking interviews and rooms whilst juggling busy diaries

• Preparing recruitment materials for auditions and making sure they run smoothly

• Taking ownership for the recruitment events calendar

• Helping to onboard candidates and making sure everyone who joins becomes a FAN

You need to be this kind of person…

• Passionate about providing unparalleled levels of service and convenience for customers

• Prepared to stick at something – we get nervous if someone has jumped from job to job

• Able to work and learn quickly in a fast paced, fun and dynamic environment

We always support colleagues to develop their skills.  But to be successful in this job you really do need to already be able to do most of these wonderful things...

• To really excel in this role, you will have strong administration experience and be able to organise your work and time

• Ideally you will have previous experience in a very busy environment with ever changing workloads and priorities

• Naturally, you will have exceptional Microsoft and Outlook skills, especially diary scheduling

• You will have experience of liaising with colleagues, internally and externally and comfortable having challenging conversations

IMPORTANT FOOTNOTE;

Diverse teams really are the best teams. We know that candidates (especially women, research tells us) may be put off applying for a job unless they can tick every box.  We also know that ‘normal’ office hours aren’t always doable, and while we can’t accommodate every flexible working request we are happy to be asked.  So if you are excited about working with us and think you can do much of what we are looking for but aren’t sure if you are 100% there yet… why not give it a whirl? Good luck!
