Buyer required to work within a tight knit team with a family run house builder focusing on quality delivery. This is a rare and exciting opportunity with a friendly and inclusive team with flexible working hours to fit personal circumstances, apply for part time or full time hours. The role will be based within the modern purpose built offices in East Cornwall reporting to the contracts manager and working closely with the company director. A role offering scope for growth and long term stability.

Daily responsibilities of a Buyer:

Coordinate deliveries with the Site Managers in accordance with the current programme and experience of working within an office environment
Interpret construction drawings and have a knowledge of material buying within the construction industry
Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing suppliers
reporting to the contracts manager and director

Skills required:

Excellent organisational skills
A good level of IT Literacy
ability to manage and adapt to a fast paced environment
confident and enthusiastic on the phone
