So what am I responsible for as Senior CRM Engineer?

The Senior CRM Engineering role sits within our Core Platform Engineering team and time would be split equally between in house end to end development of our CRM systems, primarily Microsoft Dynamics (2011, 2013, 2016 & Cloud), SQL Server and other web based systems. The other half of your time will be spent managing our 3rd party suppliers to ensure software is developed to a high standard. You will be seen as a technical lead and subject matter expect for those around you, coaching and mentoring other staff.

We are transforming to operate in using DevOps and Agile working practices and you can help support that change.

We are changing the composition of the team to bring more knowledge back in-house, so a large part of the role will involve assessing code from our 3rd parties, reviewing and challenging as required. You will have a great opportunity to coach, mentor and develop your management skills while up skilling those around you.

You would support one of the UK's largest Microsoft Dynamics databases with over 60,000 live users, currently operating across versions 2011, 2013 and 2016 with a move to the Cloud based environment due shortly, so this is an excellent time to join!

Please note this role would require some travel across our Bristol, London & Edinburgh sites on a monthly basis.

What experience, skills and knowledge will I need to do this role?

We like people who come from a variety of backgrounds and welcome having a diverse team. To be seriously considered you will need a minimum of five years' experience and expert level knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, ideally across all three versions we use (2011, 2013 and 2016). That should be backed up by a wider career within software engineering, knowledge across the whole software development lifecycle and SQL Server skills. As this will be a senior role in the team you should have good experience coaching/mentoring other staff.

In terms of technical skills for our other CRM systems, we would also welcome exposure to some of the following, but not all of them: HTML 5,TypeScript, Angular JS, Classic ASP, JavaScript, VB6 & C#.

This would be a great role if you……
