The Company

A dynamic business where product development and innovation is at the heart of everything they do. Supplying customers in the Retail, Wholesale and Foodservice sector, they develop products in a wide range of specifications, formats and packaging styles. To build on the growth of the company they are now seeking to appoint an NPD Manager who will take the lead on product development and manage a small team.

The Role

The NPD Manager will have full autonomy to interpret customer briefs and create new concepts for customers to explore, leading to product trials and full of commercialisation of products and launch.

The individual appointed will manage theoretical nutrition calculation, ingredient declarations, allergen declaration, labelling regulations, specifications, recipe sheets, as well as co-ordinate the activities of a small NPD team.

Working on predominantly private label products, the NPD Manager appointed will liaise with customers and deliver customer presentations, prepare product costings, establish shelf life on new products and keep up to date with market trends.

The Person

We are seeking an NPD Manager who has worked for a manufacturer and developed products on behalf of a range of customers such as major retailers, the health market, caterers, wholesalers, distributors etc. If you are a Senior NPD Technologist looking for your first management level opportunity this could be an interesting role to consider.

Also, if you are looking for a part-time role of around 3 days per week, this is something that the company may be able to accommodate. Ref 3027
