Job Details

Based within our Shared Services Business Unit we have an opportunity for a Salesforce Administrator to contribute to testing activities on business software applications in accordance with established Company guidelines and to contribute to researching and documenting specifications for modifications for applications. You will be involved in a mix of business as usual service requests and will provide technical expertise to our wider business while also carrying out vital audits, project support and administrative duties.

The individual in this role will partner with the service desk, business change and other operational teams (regional and global) to ensure the best service is delivered by our business applications for our customers.

Accountabilities:

  • Act as an SME for new business applications.
  • Responsible for Level 2 support on assigned applications, following agreed ITSM processes and logging all activity with the ITSM tool.
  • Contribute to the design, code, test, modification and debug of specialised functional extensions within and in conjunction with existing applications, applying standard Company tools, procedures and risk management guidelines to meet the unique and specialised needs of the Company.
  • May act as a second-tier support contact for end-user inquiries regarding business applications that have been escalated by tier-one Service Desk staff.
  • Contribute to the development and preparation of good quality, detailed solution documentation and technical specification documents to be used for programming activities, to meet Company quality assurance and risk management standards.
  • Maintain current knowledge of a broad spectrum of application developments, developments in business application software and programming methodologies to identify and suggest a variety of possible solutions for the Company that are in line with industry Best Practice

Knowledge, skills & experience required:

  • Excellent understanding of Salesforce technologies and certifications
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) - ability to communicate credibly to both technical people and business people, up to senior executive level
  • The ability to prioritise support requirements along with providing proactive interactions with our customers
  • A customer focused individual with a proactive approach to improving things for the customer and not just providing support.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of the structured system development life cycle and solution design principles.
  • Analytical skills, specifically around software building and problem resolution
