Teacher Active are looking for experienced Support Workers to provide person centred care to clients within a local residential facility in Exeter. You would be playing a pivotal role in providing excellent support and care for clients and your daily tasks as a Support Worker will include assisting service users with personal care, medications, and day to day tasks. This work can be both challenging and immensely rewarding, offering the right Support Worker a chance to get to know individuals on a personal basis and working to progress their confidence and independance in everyday settings. You will be working with people of varied backgrounds, many of whom have complex needs and multiple learning difficulties including challenging behavioural issues, so patience and resilience is needed.  My client is explanding and growing year on year, with a core team of staff who are dedicated, enthusiastic and a joy to work with - many of my current staff working here have enjoyed their job on a full time basis for over 12 months. I am looking for people who would be looking to take on a permanent role, with an extremely accommodating 3 weekly rolling rota and the opportunity for overtime as and when you wish to take it. Pay rates from £9.50 - £13 per hour, paid weekly on a friday.
