About the job Summary

The FSA is a non-ministerial department of over 1300 people, with a big vision – to drive change in the food system so that it delivers “food we can trust” - as the country prepares to leave the EU, the scale of this challenge cannot be underestimated. More than 90% of food and feed law in the UK currently comes from Europe and our primary goal is to continue to protect public health and UK consumers’ wider interest in food.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of our 27 strong HR team. We are a diverse and multi-disciplinary team - constantly adapting and evolving to embrace new challenges, covering Business Partnering, Talent and Professions, Capability & Development, Business and People Services, Engagement and Reward, Recruitment and Resourcing and Organisational Development.

Due to the retirement of one of our team, we are looking for an experienced and credible HR Business Partner to join us as a member of the People & Organisational Change (POC) leadership team, to work alongside three peers and partner with senior leaders and their teams. It is essential that you can take a genuine interest in the business agendas of the directorates you would support, interpreting and pragmatically deploying FSA and CS HR policy and best practice, that you can think on your feet, deliver at pace and are not fazed by juggling competing priorities.
This is a full-time role, with some travel, but you can split your week between home (or wherever you prefer to work) and the office(s) if you so choose.

If you’d like to be part of a great team who truly love what they do (and have fun doing it) then we look forward to receiving your application.

Please read the attached Candidate Pack to discover further details about the role, our organisation, who we are looking for and the criteria we will assess against during the selection process.

We passionately believe in equality, diversity & inclusion welcome suitably qualified applications from all backgrounds.

You’ll value difference, diversity and inclusion, ensuring fairness and opportunity for all.
