We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative, passionate and professional individual to join our clients team in Kings Lynn, as a Care Coordinator.

Our client is a family run company dedicated to helping the more vulnerable and elderly members of the local community to lead happier and more independent lives.

Position: Care Coordinator

Location: Kings Lynn

Salary: £9.25-£9.75 p/h with supplements for weekends and bank holidays (up to £15.60 per hour) PLUS on-call payments

Hours: Full or Part-Time, Permanent. On-Call duties are required outside of normal working hours on a rotation basis with other coordinators. Hours can be flexible to suit the right candidate with a minimum of 3 days (22.5 hours) per week

Benefits: 28 days holiday, travel expenses and uniform.

About the role:

As Care Coordinator you will administer all aspects of the weekly work rotas for a team of 60+ care workers in the Kings Lynn and Downham Market areas. Using CareFree Management systems, you will manage all aspects of the Company’s care rota operations.

You will coordinate the activities of all Care Staff and Team leaders so that client needs are met through the provision of high quality and compassionate home care services.

About you:

The most important qualification for all members of staff regardless of their role or level of seniority in the Company is a genuinely caring and compassionate nature coupled with the patience and understanding necessary to assist vulnerable and disabled service users to lead fruitful and independent lives.

As Care Coordinator you will also have the following skills and experience:

 

  • Prior experience in a similar role within domiciliary care work
  • Prior scheduling experience preferably involving responsibility for complex work rotas
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong administration skills including high levels of computer literacy, e.g. Word and Excel spreadsheet applications
  • Proven people management skills

 

Knowledge of using CareFree management and RoadRunner call monitoring software is highly desirable, although software training will be provided.

Due to location it is also essential that you hold a full driving license and have access to a car for work purposes.

Enhanced DBS checks and employment references are required for this role.

You may also have prior experience in areas such as; Support Coordinator, Care, Care Worker, Senior Support Worker, Carer, Care Team Leader, Support Team Leader, Domicilliary Care Work.
