Our client, an independent sixth form in Cambridge, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Computer Science Teacher to join their high achieving, well regarded institution.

The sixth form is part of a wider group of independent schools that caters for a mix of local and international students. Academic achievement is well above average and many students go on to Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities in the UK and leading universities around the world. As well as KS5, the college also tutor for undergraduate and foundation degree level as well as Pre-U.

Currently the school require a part time Computer Science Teacher to support the smooth running of the computing department. The Computer Science Teacher will teach engaged A Level students with high aspirations. The successful Computer Science Teacher applicant will likely be a Computer Science graduate who is knowledgeable in their field, having excellent academics themselves. The Computer Science Teacher will also possess the natural ability to build rapport with young people and be able to break down complex ideas and topics down to accessible chunks that students can retain.

The Computer Science Teacher position is permanent and part time; 3 hours a week split over 2 days.
