FTC for up to 6 months. Both part-time and full-time considered. Unseen is a UK charity with its headquarters in Bristol. We focus on three main areas as we work towards a world without slavery: Supporting survivors and potential victims of slavery by providing access to a range of specialist services, enabling them to safely recover and develop resilient independent lives; Equipping stakeholders by providing training, advice and resources to facilitate the identification and support of potential victims of slavery; and Influencing systemic changes by using our experience and research to impact and inspire transformation across legislation, policy and society. We are recruiting a new member of our Senior Leadership Team to take on the role of Finance Director on an interim basis. The candidate will have held a previous role as a charity Finance Director. Professional accountancy qualifications (CIMA, ACMA, ACA, ACCA) are essential. This role will also be responsible for providing the CEO, colleagues on Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Trustee Board with timely and relevant information to inform decision-making, measure performance and facilitate delivery of the strategic goals of the organisation. As a senior leader, this individual would also be expected to advise the board on strategy and to agree strategic operational plans with the CEO & SLT colleagues. The ideal candidate will possess both accounting and commercial experience as well as experience of operational oversight and will have a ‘how can I help’ attitude, a problem solver with energy to always help. The candidate must meet the requirements for a commercially astute, articulate, operationally and technically strong, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels. Please refer to the job description for more details. Deadline for applications is Monday 18th November at 17:00. Interviews will be held in the week commencing Monday 25th November.
