Working as part of the Compliance Assurance Team within the Compliance function in the Risk and Compliance directorate, and reporting to the Head of Compliance Assurance, the Compliance Manager (Assurance) will work with the other team members and with colleagues across the organisation to deliver compliance monitoring reports, the scheme’s external assurance reporting against the AAF 02/07 standard, and any other assurance monitoring activity directed by management.
This role is part of the team that delivers Nest’s second line control and assurance framework and, as such, there is the likelihood that the delivery of the role will come under regular scrutiny from senior management. It will suit someone who is willing to accept responsibility for delivery, and who is able to discharge those responsibilities within agreed timescales.
Experience and technical skills
The employee will be able to demonstrate the following experience and technical skills:
- Technical expertise in relation to occupational defined contribution pension schemes; Knowledge of the legal framework and processes required for automatic enrolment; Knowledge and experience of control reporting or an internal audit/compliance monitoring background; Knowledge of the TPR reporting regime; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong analytical skills
