Sensus Associates have numerous contract positions within the Hampshire area across a variety of Children’s Social Work Teams, these include - Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), Children’s Assessment and Safeguarding Team (CAST), Children in Care Team (CiC) and Disabled Children’s Team (DCT).
These roles are paying from £28 -£35 per hour dependant upon experience and are long term contract roles, the client will also consider part time applicants.
Main duties will include:
* Manage an agreed case load in accordance with statutory and departmental procedures and objectives
* Monitor, review and reassess care packages/services against identified risks, needs, and objectives to ensure the continued effectiveness in achieving required or wanted outcomes
* Produce reports as required which comply with statutory and Departmental procedures and capture and analyse information clearly and guide decision making and case management
* Ensure all safeguarding practices are adhered to, this includes sign posting, multi-agency working and completed joint visits or assessments
* To ensure all meetings, visits and court are attended and documentation is completed
To apply applicants must:
* Hold a degree in social work or equivalent (e.g. CQSW, DipSW) and be registered with the HCPC.
* Be competent in report writing and writing assessments
* Be able to assess risks, needs, analyse information and recognise problems community
* Have demonstratable knowledge on Child Protection legislation and understanding of child protection issues and substitute care.
* Understand Best Value principals and need for resource constraints.
* Hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own transport
