Job Details
We’re looking for a passionate and professional individual with excellent organisational skills to join our clients Recovery Service covering Crawley, Horsham and Mid Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke.
Position: Stroke Support Coordinator (2 roles)
Location: Home based with regular travel across the service area - West Sussex covering Crawley/Horsham and Mid Sussex CCG location.
Hours: 25 hours per week for each post
Salary: circa £16,500 per annum
Contract: Permanent. Our client’s services are contracted; they currently have funding for the contract until 31 March 2021 (with the possibility to extend subject to funding)

The Role
The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes.
A key part of the Support Coordinator role will be to recruit, train and manage a team of volunteers, to support service users and the delivery of the service.
About You
The Support Coordinator will have experience/background in:
- A caring profession with experience of supporting people with disabilities.
- Setting up and running support groups.
You will have excellent IT skills and demonstrate a flexible approach to your role.
The ability to drive and the use of a car with business use cover are essential to fulfil the requirements of the role.
