Corporate Tax Manager OMB's - Southampton
Our client who are one of the prestigious top 10 practices in the UK are looking for a high calibre Corporate Tax Manager, to join their team, based on at their offices in Southampton.
The role
As part of a large Corporate Tax Team, the preferred candidate will manage a portfolio of the firms large corporate clients, predominately OMB's, ranging in size from pre-revenue stage companies to large corporate groups with international operations, delivering an efficient and effective full corporation tax compliance service.
With significant tax advisory elements to this role and working in collaboration with the Partners and Directors, the individual will be involved in a wide range of tax planning assignments, ranging from transactional tax support, advising on company sales, due diligence, R&D tax credits, international tax planning, share schemes, EIS and complex enquiry cases.
Skills required for this position
* ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified with the ability to demonstrate strong corporate tax technical skills;
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels;
* This provides a real opportunity for an ambitious individual to widen and deepen their tax knowledge and carries excellent career opportunities;
* A willingness to support the firms marketing and business development initiatives is required.
* A team player - having the ability to work with the tax team and other members of the firm.
* The role will be based in Southampton, but you will be required to work from our other office 1 day per week and there may also be occasions when you will be required to attend or work out of the other offices.
* Full or part time will be considered
