Pertemps Salisbury are currently recruiting for a Care Warden to attend the needs of residents in sheltered accommodation based in SALISBURY (SP1).
Part-Time
Permanent
Average of 90 hours per month which includes an average of 4 sleep over shifts per month
£9.09 per hour rising to £9.94 per hour after a successful 3 month probationary period
Sleep over shifts (16:45-08:45) are paid at £131.36 per shift
The Job
Working for a long-established Salisbury charity, this is a great opportunity to join a friendly caring care team and enjoy making the lives of others as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.

The successful Care Warden will be responsible for:
Checking on the well-being of the residents
Supporting and assisting residents with domestic tasks
Serving meals to the residents
Reporting building maintenance issues
Contacting the emergency services and being the point of contact on arrival in the event of an emergency
Assisting with personal care of residents is not required on a regular basis, but help should be given in exceptional circumstances at the staff member's discretion
Requirements
The Care Warden will:
Enjoy helping people and have a caring and considerate nature
Be prepared to work flexible hours, including weekends and undertake sleepovers
Be willing to undertake a full DBS check
Be able to deal with problems in a calm and swift manner
Ideally have experience working with the elderly or vulnerable adults
First Aid and Fire Warden training desirable but not essential as full training will be given
