We have genuine long-term positions with permanent contract opportunities for customer service / check in agents to work at Gatwick Airport.
These positions are PART TIME = 20+ hours per week (PLUS OVERTIME AVAILABLE)
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals to work in a fast-paced airport and deliver a world class service to its customers.
FRONT OF THE HOUSE / CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENTS - GATWICK AIRPORT
PAY - £10.10ph
SHIFT PATTERN IS 6 DAYS ON - 3 DAYS OFF PER WEEK - 4 HOURS 15 MINS PER SHIFT
20+ HOURS PER WEEK (OVERTIME AVAILABLE)
VARIABLE SHIFT PATTERNS
MUST BE FLEXIBLE & ABLE TO START ANYTIME FROM 3AM ONWARDS
ROSTERS GIVEN MONTHLY IN ADVANCE

FREE CAR PARKINGDuties and responsibilities
Greeting and checking in of passengers and passenger baggage for their respective flights
Checking passport, visa documentation and flight details
Monitoring of baggage Weights and applying Excess Baggage Charges if applicable
Asking relevant security questions
Offering and aiding customer's needs
Reconciliation of passengers at Boarding Gates
Conduct boarding and passenger announcements
Boarding and disembarkation of passengers
Ensure compliance with CAA regulations and airport authority bylaws (full training given)Skills Required:
Previous experience of working within a customer service role, ideally within a customer facing role
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be passionate about customer service

Able to remain calm under pressure
Hours of work
20 hours per week
Candidates must be available to work 4 hour shifts that may start from 3am and the latest shift may finish at 11pm

Requirements
Due to the location of work being at Gatwick Airport you must be able to provide the following:
5-year check-able work history, this does not need to be all UK experience, you also do not need to have been employed for a continuous 5 years we just need to verify whatever it is that you have been doing, this can cover unemployment periods, school etc.
You must be able to provide valid photographic ID
Willing to undertake a criminal record check
