We’re now looking for additional Female Support Workers to provide a high level of care to our client, a woman with cerebral palsy who loves having fun and trying new things.

The Role
As a Female Support Worker, you’ll support our client, a young woman with cerebral palsy who is a wheelchair user.
Joining an existing team of seven, you’ll provide 1:1 care to our client in a happy family environment and cover all areas of personal care and companionship. Our client is sociable, fun and eager to try new activities, so you’ll need to be friendly, have a good sense of humour and be keen to join her in her daily adventures.
As part of your role, you will be required to drive our client’s vehicle to take her to community activities. Car insurance will be covered, but a full driving licence is key.
About You
To be considered as a Female Support Worker, you will need:
- A full, valid driving licence
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive attitude
Due to the nature of care required, only female applicants will be progressed for this role. This post is compliant with Paragraph 1, Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 relating to Occupational Requirements.
Previous care experience would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided.
Other organisations may call this role Trainee Care Worker, Personal Care Assistant, Junior Healthcare Worker, Healthcare Co-ordinator, Trainee Social Care Worker, Care Assistant, or Healthcare Assistant.
This is a part-time role, working up to 20 hours per week, with some weekend working. Bank hours are also available.
