Angel Care is pleased to consider applications for Domiciliary Care Assistants in Eltham and surrounding area.
Duties:
Contribute to the support, care and well being of individuals (in line with Angel's Core Values)
To support the users to experience life opportunities which promote their independence
Promote and take part in social, leisure, life skills and other activities with service users
Take on key worker responsibilities as required
Support individuals with the implementation of their day to day routine and activities
Provide personal care as required respecting the individuals dignity, privacy and rights
Support individuals in developing independent living skills in line with their support plans
To identify and follow policies and procedures including the Codes of Practice for social care
Working unsupervised within our clients homes.
Qualifications Required:
Relevant qualification or working towards NVQ level 2.
Experience of supporting people within their own home.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 14:00 and/or 16:00 - 22:00
Saturday and Sunday flexible between 07:00 - 22:00
Working a shift pattern that will include minimum of 1 weekend a month.
Flexible hours might be considered.
