Up to £16.00 Gross per Hour. We are recruiting for a new care package in the Tadworth area, supporting a lovely little chap with complex care needs. Full and part-time positions available.

Wage / Salary: £14.00 Gross per Hour Weekdays | £16.00 Gross per Hour Weekends | Monday to Friday on-call night shifts: £9.33 gross per hour (12 hour shift) Weekends: £10.66 Gross per Hour (12 hour shift)
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? On duty, adapted vehicle, automatic drive
Essential: Experience supporting young clients with complex care needs, Swimmer, non-smoker / non vaper
Desirable: PEG Feed, Administering medication, experience working within a family environment, supporting a non-verbal client
Start Date: ASAP
Days & Hours: Shifts available (all shifts include on-call nights) Monday - Friday 4.30pm – 9.30am (on-call night 9.30pm – 9.30am).
Weekends Saturday and Sunday 12 hour shift: 9.30am – 9.30pm | (on-call night) 9.30pm – 9.30am. Additional hours available to cover annual leave and school holidays.

Our client Ryan, is 6 years old, he sustained a brain injury at birth, and as a result, he has four limb dystonic cerebral palsy, a visual impairment, microcephaly, severe learning disabilities, and gastric reflux.

Ryan has complex care needs, he receives all medication, liquids, and nutrition via his gastrostomy PEG, he is non-verbal however communicates using sounds and facial expressions, he is a wheelchair user and is dependent on others to meet all his care needs.

Ryan lives at home with his parents and younger sister and he attends a specialist school. In this role, you’ll assist with morning, afterschool, night and weekend routine. We are seeking a proactive, outgoing and confident support worker to support Ryan with all his care needs, therapy programmes and to promote his independence.

This is a wonderful position working with a lovely little boy, for this role you must be a confident swimmer as Ryan enjoys swimming and needs support to access this activity in his home. We are looking for support workers who are flexible and can work on a rolling rota basis.
