The London Borough of Enfield is looking for a part-time Deputy Team Manager to join their Parent Support Service. This is a Locum Social Work role.
The ideal DTM will have prior experience in a management role as well as the ability to take a lead in a Leaving Care and Looked After Children orientated team. This role involves aiding in the management of a team formulated of Social Workers, Support Workers and a host of other professionals.

Opportunity to work in a part-time management roleYour responsibilities as a Family Support Deputy Team Manager:
Help in dealing with cases involving a range of issues ranging from poor parental relationships to substance misuse.
Be part of the PSS management team to monitor high-quality case management, working to the highest standard to ensure plans are completed within the required timescale.
Deputise for the Team Manager taking on responsibility for the operational delivery of the service in the absence of the Team Manager including attending any groups or respective board meetings.
Responsible for managing and supervising 7 members of the staff, ensuring systems are in place for staff to meet targets in line with Enfield Policies and Procedures.
Work in partnership with all other relevant agencies to deliver high quality interventions.Requirements of you as a Family Support Deputy Team Manager:
A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
A valid HCPC registration
Have competent knowledge and experience of Looked After Children, Leaving care work
Have prior experience in a management role
