Location: Hillingdon & Hounslow - within easy access via Train, Bus and Car with Car Park

Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 per annum / £43.26 - £48.07 per hour based on 40 hours per week.

Hours: 16 hours per week - Wednesday & Saturday. - 8 Hours Wednesday at Hillingdon and 8 Hours on Saturday at Hounslow

Further Details about the Role The post holder will undertake dermatological surgical procedures, including biopsies, excisions, flaps and grafts. The post holder will report to the Service Manager and the Medical Director and is responsible for delivery and supervision of all aspects of the dermatology service, in line with agreed aims and objectives. The post holder will drive best practice in overall patient care, efficiency, performance against service level KPIs, staff mentoring, liaison with external agents and suppliers and the wider community. The post holder will actively seek ways of reducing outgoings by new ways of working and motivating all the staff to deliver maximum efficiency.

Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this Plastic Surgeon opportunity must possess full GMC registration without restrictions. MRCP or equivalent. Entry on the GMC specialist register in Dermatology or be eligible for entry within 6 months of attaining certificate of completion of specialist training at the time of interview. MD or PhD. Knowledge and experience of outpatient dermatology and management of acute dermatoses. Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCT in Dermatology. Ability to offer an expert opinion on the full range of dermatological problems. Ability to take full an independent responsibility for the clinical care of patients. Ability to safely oversee and share care of patients with chronic skin problems with nursing and other staff
