Payroll Administrator

Part-time, 25 hrs P/wk., 52 wks. P/year | FTC to August 2020 | £12,065 - £13,414 per annum (pro rata of £17,856 - £19,853)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join the College's payroll section.

The role will include: inputting data into the payroll system, checking interim reports, completing pension forms, and dealing with queries from staff and pension bodies. You should be able to work accurately and to strict deadlines, and you will be able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels in both the College, and external organisations that we work with.

The College is in the process of tendering for a combined HR/payroll system and this post will play a key role in assisting with user requirements, implementation and testing the new system. You should, therefore, ideally have previous experience of working in an HR/payroll setting.

This is a part-time position for 25 hours per week, on a fixed term contract ending in August 2020.

As one of the country’s largest providers of quality education and training, our team of over 600 talented staff support over 12,000 students each year and each plays a part in making City College Plymouth a nationally recognised learning environment.

The College offers a range of teaching, business support and Apprenticeship opportunities. So if you want to be rewarded well for investing in people’s futures, we want to hear from you.

City College Plymouth is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The College is an equal opportunities employer.
