Associate Lecturer in Beauty

Part-time, 31.30 hours P/w | Temporary | £19,445-£27,914 P/A (pro rata of £23,001-£33,018)

We are seeking a beauty tutor to teach across all levels in the College’s Hair & Beauty department.

You will be qualified to Level 3 in beauty therapy and current in all techniques within the industry. It will also be a distinct advantage if you have experience of advanced make-up techniques.

For this teaching post it is essential that you hold a teaching and assessing award qualification, and that you already have salon experience. It would desirable that you have some experience in training students and apprentices, and have some knowledge of further education. Coupled with this, you should be able to offer excellent commercial and customer service skills, and be an excellent role model to students and staff. A good knowledge of IT is also required.

You must be dynamic and self-motivated, and be able to work well in a team, and you must have the flexibility and willingness to work during the evenings and on Saturdays.
