Job Details
We’re looking for a highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic individual to join our clients Regional Fundraising Team in the East of England region. This is an exciting fast paced role, where no two days are the same.
Position: Regional Fundraiser
Location: Flexible - Office based in Bury St Edmunds or home based across Essex, Norfolk, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Suffolk
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: Circa £24,000 per annum
Contract: Fixed term contract until 2 December 2020

The Role
You’ll recruit and manage regional corporate partners and support a network of “in aid” of supporters who will carry out their own fundraising so that income generation targets are achieved. You'll also manage and deliver our local Resolution Runs and other products and events, in partnership with the National Events Team.
You will also play an integral part in recruiting volunteers, in partnership with the Volunteering and Community Team, and building relationships with Voluntary Groups.
About You
You will either have direct experience of regional fundraising, or transferable skills from another sector, such as sales. This would also be a great job for someone in a regional fundraising assistant role who is looking to take the next step to manage their own portfolio of supporters, partnerships and events.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an excellent communicator and relationship builder
- Be confident in proactively contacting supporters via phone, email and face to face.
- Need to be a team player.
- Be a self-starter, with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Have a desire to network and seek out new partnership opportunities with local businesses
- Be pro-active and flexible.
- Resilient and good-humoured.
- Be prepared to organise and manage a busy workload to meet deadlines.

The use of a car with business use cover and the ability to drive is essential to be able to fulfil the requirements of the role.
