As an experienced credit risk analyst, you will join the Specialised & Asset Finance division in covering a broad range of assets across global industries including Energy, TMT, Mobility and Resources; as well as our strategically aligned emerging industries. You will be primarily responsible for decisioning transactions within your region, however given the nature of the Division will be given exposure to global industries.

Leveraging your previous experience, you will use your strong financial analysis and interpretation skills to assess new opportunities for transactions and monitor the ongoing performance of counterparties across a range of financial products and other various asset categories ranging up to AUD$5m within agreed frameworks.

Using your industry knowledge and expertise you will decision transactions within your delegated credit discretion in compliance with policy and guidelines. You will partner with divisional members as well as the broader Macquarie stakeholders to provide clear instructional guidance on information requirements, decisions and credit appetite.

You will provide working feedback on improvement opportunities in credit policies, emerging risk patterns and known pitfalls. Your 7+ years of deep understanding in wholesale lending practices will be paramount to the team’s success and maintaining a strong risk culture.
