Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity providing support to vulnerable Adults?
Manpower is currently recruiting for Support Workers to work within a care unit based in Sompting, Worthing, who provide care and support, and also some respite, to vulnerable Adults with learning disabilities.
We are offering on-going, part-time bank work positions to include various shifts throughout the week and weekend; shifts include earlies, lates, nights and also shorter morning/evening 3-4 hour shifts. This would suit someone looking for Adhoc extra work.
As a Support Worker your role will involve supporting and encouraging customers in day to day activities and duties, along with personal care duties.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of safeguarding and processes, good communication and interpersonal skills, preferably with a minimum of 6 months experience working with vulnerable adults. NVQ Level 2+ or relevant equivalent qualification desired, suitable training can be provided.
You must be able to work flexible shifts at short notice including days, evenings and weekends. You will be paid up to £10.14 per hour Monday - Friday, enhancement to pay will vary for additional shifts outside these hours.
