Working as a Front of House Restaurant team member within our clients busy restaurants for the Christmas period and next year, requires you to be comfortable starting a conversation with anyone, answering their questions or meeting their requests, doing that bit extra for them and going the extra mile. Good rates of pay and double time over the bank holidays!! The Front of House Restaurant team members work a variety of shifts including split shifts, evenings, weekends, operating 7 days a week with full or part time hours available. You will be guest facing and responsible for: Welcome guests as they arrive and show them to their table Take accurate orders and make recommendations Delivering food and drink in a professional manner to the table Check back with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and taking action to correct any problems Clear and relay tables and keep the restaurant areas looking pristine Joining our team as a Front of House Restaurant Team member with us will give you the opportunity to develop skills including: Communication skills, by listening to guests, engaging and building a rapport with them and by dealing with challenging people and situations Experience of working under pressure including managing a workload at busy times Developing an understanding of guest needs and using this knowledge to improve the business Building a commercial awareness and the experience of working in a commercial environment Working with regulations such as health and safety and licensing laws We are looking for candidates who: Have a willingness to learn new skills Are Team players with a positive attitude Show Flexibility, reliability and punctuality Have an enthusiasm to deliver a fantastic experience to all of our guests Experience of working within a busy restaurant environment including although not essential as restaurant training can be given We are happy to train and develop the right individuals.
