Location: Opportunities in Worksop and Mansfield

Hours: Variety of hours available, ranging from full time and part time, to casual shifts that can fit around your commitments

Salary: £8.75 per hour / £17,128.13 per annum (pro rata)

About the role:

Our client’s Housing Officer role is a front of house position where no two days are quite the same. You will be responsible for patrolling the premises, engaging with residents, running activity sessions, monitoring CCTV, managing the reception desk and acting as the first point of call for incidents and emergencies amongst other duties.

You’ll contribute to resident’s daily lives by providing a friendly and welcoming reception service, helping with allocations of accommodation and completing routine safety checks and basic maintenance.

About you:

As a Housing Officer for our client, you will be empathetic, energetic and compassionate. You will bring with you the following skills and experience:

 

  • Experience of working in a supported housing or supported living environment is desirable
  • Confident in lone working situations
  • A good understanding of conflict resolution
  • Meticulous record keeping and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding
