Pertemps Medical are urgently looking to speak with a Band 7 or 8a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to work within an Early Intervention Service in Aylesbury.

This role offers an immediate start with the ideal candidate being available full-time although part-time may be considered.

Person Specification

HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist
Adult mental health experience
Experience with Psychosis is desirable
Driving license and access to own car

This role involves
To provide a highly specialist psychology service to the clients of the Early Intervention in Psychosis Service in Buckinghamshire, across in-patient, out-patient and community settings. To deliver NICE-recommended individual cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to clients with psychosis or an At Risk Mental State for psychosis, and to deliver family intervention (FI) to clients with psychosis and their carers. The work will include specialist assessment, treatment, and monitoring of outcomes. To provide clinical supervision and consultation as appropriate, particularly to the psychology assistants and junior psychologists working in the teams. To care coordinate a small caseload of 4-5 psychology clients. To utilize research skills for audit, policy, service development and research.
