Pre-School Manager  Term time only Part time: 20-30 hrs per week Exact hours can be arranged (pre-school times are Monday-Friday 7.30am-3pm) A term-time opportunity has arisen for a confident, committed and highly motivated leader. Our client is looking for a Manager to join their small but growing OFSTED Pre-school in Ruislip. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming team of friendly staff. The Pre-School Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the whole pre-school. Some main duties are as follows: Doing staff appraisals, staff supervisions and peer on peer supervisions Completing weekly learning journal checks Helping staff with planning Completing Reflections of activities/room layouts/routine Weekly meetings with the owners and responsible for feeding everything back to them daily Collating a weekly report of all the keyworkers children updates, concerns, achievements etc and reporting back the findings to the owner Children area tracking Supplying owner with list of equipment needed termly keeping within the budget given to them each term Creating Pupil Premium reports Making sure 2yr checks, end of term reports are all completed Leading by example and making sure the routine is followed Short term planning SEF Having meetings with outside agencies as and when needed. Arranging funded places.  Experience required: At least two years’ experience as a Nursery Manager or similar role in an early year setting Have proven senior level experience in a setting with a 'good' or 'outstanding' Ofsted Experience of working with staff teams Excellent staff management skills Be passionate about providing the highest quality of childcare possible The ability to work on own initiative Very strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent understanding of Planning, Observations and Assessments Qualifications required: Level 3 qualified minimum in Early Years and Childcare (Essential) An equivalent or higher management qualification and/or a further qualification in Childcare Up to date first aid (desirable) Up to date Safeguarding (desirable) Our client is a relatively new pre-school which has been open for just over a year.
