Prospero Teaching are working with a school in Chichester who are seeking Behaviour Teaching Assistants to join the school immediately. This role is full-time however will consider part-timers and job shares.
About the Behaviour Teaching Assistant position:
Full-time, permanent position to start immediately.
37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.
Large and comprehensive secondary school in Chichester, opportunities for career path progression.
You will be supporting pupils who have behavioural and attendance issues.
Providing pastoral support to a range of children with a variety of needs while assisting the teachers of each class.

To be Successful the Behaviour Teaching Assistant will have / be :
**Passion for child development as wells as attainment.
**Enthusiasm while creating a fun learning environment.
**Resilience and flexibility while maintaining strong behaviour management skills.
**Someone who believes children can achieve beyond expectations.
**Strong knowledge of SEN / SEMH / EBD.
**Strong experience dealing with challenging behaviour and Special Education Needs.
CONTRACT DETAILS
**Location - Chichester, West Sussex
**Position - Behaviour Teaching Assistant
**Type of work - Assisting teachers in classroom and one to ones with pupils
**Contract or position start date - 4th September 2019
**Duration / Likely Duration - Permanent
**Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Permanent
**Full time/part time - Full time
**Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £13000 per annum
**Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
**Previous experience in a secondary environment (Desirable)
**Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
**Hold Right to Work in the UK
**Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
**Provide two professional child related references
