Our client, a leading office solutions company are seeking a Sales Executive to join their motivated and ambitious Romsey based sales team.

Working with an innovative, unique product, the main purpose of the role is to identify sales leads by calling potential clients to make appointments for the sales managers. 

This is not the typical high call volume sales role, the client regard quality over quantity and there is an element of field sales to this role with regular off-site visits.


Duties for the Appointment Agent will include:

• Researching leads - confirming the name of the company decision maker.
  
  
• Calling the prospective client and speaking to the decision maker.
  
  
• Asking a series of questions to determine if the decision maker would like to arrange a visit from the field sales team.
  
  
• Advising on how the client’s products will benefit their business.
  
  
• Producing quotes for prospective clients.
  
  
• Follow up calls and related administration.
  
  
• Off-site visits to potential clients.

The successful Sales Executive will have:

• Sales experience (ideally B2B outbound sales) although training will be provided and a positive attitude and hunger for success is regarded over experience
  
  
• A likable and engaging personality.
  
  
• The ability to build a rapport quickly maintain it throughout the sales process.
  
  
• Experience of working to targets in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• Motivation to achieve sales, progress and earn commission.
  
  
• Professional communication and excellent relationship building skills.

This is not the typical high call volume sales role and the client regard quality over quantity.

The basic salary is in the region of £18,000 per year with a realistic and achievable first year OTE of £25,000.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm. Free Parking on site. Open plan, air-conditioned offices, commutable by public transport.
