Cook needed to cover weekends for a residental home in Southend, this is an ongoing position with the view to go permanent for the right candidate. Great part time job with weekly pay. You will work every Saturday and Sunday.

Cooking for around 50 elderly clients in an independent living complex, close to all the amenities in Southend. You will need to have an understanding on special dietary requirements and be able to cook from fresh. Mealtimes to many residents are the highlight of the day, can you enhance this experience by providing beautiful home cooked meals that are delicious, nutritious and well balanced using fresh produce?

Skills required:

Must have relevant catering experience & qualifications, NVQ 2 Catering or City & Guilds Equivalent.
Food Hygiene level 2

Experience of working in a Care home setting is preferred
Good communications skills
Upbeat with positive attitude
Level 2 Food Hygiene or equivalent (not essential training provided)
