Project Manager – Hampshire - £45k - £50k
Established 15 years this is a modern & reputable Construction & Building Services company with regional offices throughout the South, working within numerous sectors including, Commercial, Industrial, Education, Residential, Health & MoD. They provide complete services including groundworks/civils, new build, fit out, refurb, M&E services on projects c£100k - £5m.
Description/Role:
The role itself will be working/supporting other contract managers (based in our Portsmouth Office mainly) on maintenance and reconfiguration/refurbishment projects across various sectors (e.g. Education, health, defence etc.). This will involve the following:
* Pre-construction works (PQQ and Quotation/Tender preparation);
* H&S information and planning;
* Project Programmes;
* Obtaining quotations from the supply chain;
* Control throughout project lifecycle;
* Attending client and site meetings;
* Preparation of reports e.g. Progress reports;
* Inspection of works/snagging;
* Liaising with the commercial team for valuations etc.
* Project completion/handover.
The ideal candidate:
* Construction industry experience (i.e. 4-5 years);
* Driven, motivated, organised and enthusiastic with ambition to succeed within an ever expanding organisation;
* Ability to work with own initiative when required and manage workload efficiently;
* Strong IT and reporting skills alongside good written and oral communication skills;
* Experience with Microsoft Office beneficial;
* Driving licence essential.
Notes:
* Further training will be provided alongside a structured training/development plan for the right candidate;
* Salary £40k - £50k depending on qualifications/experience;
* Company vehicle supplied if required;
* Enrolment into company pension scheme;
* Supplied with laptop/tablet and phone;
* 3 month probation period with performance review (annual review thereafter)
