Our educational based client is seeking to recruit additional Part Time Cleaning staff to join their team.
Due to workplace location your own transport is essential.
The purpose of this role is to provide domestic cleaning and domestic house management. Duties to include, but not limited to, domestic cleaning and identifying areas requiring attention for maintenance. Flexibility and pride in the presentation of the site is key.
Key areas of responsibility
To perform all domestic cleaning duties in the allocated area
To empty bins daily in offices and common rooms
To hoover carpets daily
To wipe down desks daily
To wet mop floors as necessary in changing rooms
To clean all glass doors and panels
To dust down and polish surfaces
To clean windowsills
To clean all toilets and sinks, replenish toilet rolls and soap dispensers
To co-ordinate with the Senior Cleaner and Caretaker regarding their requirement for cleaning and any matters arising
To provide cleaning cover as may be from time to time required
To accompany external household contractors when on site
To liaise with the Senior Cleaner regarding the cleaning products stock levels
To check that areas are maintained to a good standard and report damage as appropriate.
To liaise with the maintenance department on maintenance - breakages, malfunctions, replacement keys to ensure any issues are promptly followed up.
Hours of work
Permanent Part-time: 15-30 hours worked Monday to Friday each week per annum or, term-times. Hours will be worked mornings/afternoons/evenings with start times to be agreed.
Authorised overtime hours are available
Four weeks paid holiday to be taken during school holidays and half hour paid lunch or supper depending on shift worked during term times.
Uniform provided.
Role subject to enhanced DBS certificate
