Are you a fantastic Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience working with children who have additional needs? Would you like to gain more experience in teaching and mental health? Are you skilled in managing challenging behaviour? Have you got transferable skills or qualifications you could apply to this role?
We are currently recruiting passionate and experienced Teaching Assistants to work 1:1 in a classroom setting with pupils that have complex and diverse Special Needs. We cater to Primary and Secondary specialist settings and can offer full and part-time work. If you are local to Exeter, or you're willing to travel from the surrounding area, then apply today!
This is a temporary position, but may be made permanent for the right candidate.

Your responsibilities:
* Managing challenging behaviour and supporting the class teacher
* Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all pupils
* Working with small groups and 1:1
* Liaising with fellow colleagues to get the most out of your pupils' development
Your Requirements:
* Relevant education qualification preferred
* Able to make an impression on both us and our client
* Experience working or volunteering with SEN/SEMH/EBD pupils
* Flexibility to work with a changeable schedule
* Knowledge of Makaton, Moving and Handling, PECs or Team Teach is desirable (but not essential)
