Based in Peterborough, working for a growing business with a small and friendly team who are looking to add some part time experience to their finance department.

This is a new role, supporting the Financial Controller and the ideal candidate will be needed for around 2 days per week, although ideally will be available for slightly more around month end.

Duties are varied and will include:

* Supporting the Financial Controller with the demands of the day-to-day administration, statutory reporting, month end processes and value adding activities such as costing and margin analysis.

* Maintenance of the daily cash flow forecasts and posting of daily cash receipts

* Credit control including customer credit assessments

* Preparation of the monthly EC Sales list.

* Processing of supplier invoices and supplier payment runs

* Statement reconciliations

* Preparation of Year End information as requested by external auditors and the parent company.

The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience in a similar role, ideally be part qualified (although QBE will be considered) and be familiar with Sage 200 and Excel
