The company we have partnered with are market leaders in their field and they are looking for a purchase ledger to joing their friendly and busy finance team.
They are looking for someone to start ASAP on a 12 month contract and ideally looking for that individual to start before Christams.
The role responsibilities include:
* Responsible for all aspects of purchase ledger:
* Processing of purchase ledger invoices, ensuring correct coding to the ledger
* Coding and posting invoices to the correct Purchase Order
* Ensuring Purchase Order limits are not exceeded
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Preparation of monthly Purchase ledger payment runs
* Verifying and setting up new suppliers
* Inform the Finance Manager of any unresolved queries
* Maintain accurate and timely filing of invoices and associated documents
* Key liaison with asset and project managers across the business to ensure all invoice approvals are obtained and processed in a timely manner
* Point of contact for all supplier queries
* Attend and participate in month end meetings to review aged creditors and supplier accounts
* Accounts payable reconciliations as delegated by the Finance Manager
* Assist with sales ledger and cash postings where needed
Profile Profile:
* Someone who has experience working as a purchase ledge, preferably in a standalone capacity
* Someone who has excellent IT skills in excel and will be able to communicate clearly
* Qualified by experience or AAT Qualified
* Open to part time (3-4 days per week) & flexible hours as well as full time
