Pay rate: £10.10

Hours of Work: Part Time, Monday-Friday, flexible hours up to 26 hrs a week.

The Role:

To understand and maintain client confidentiality according to Trust Policy.
To type clinical and administrative documents in agreed formats and timescales, saving them electronically.
To efficiently run the referral and discharge systems and monitor waiting times
To be responsible for the complete and accurate entry of information onto the database and ensure it is updated if necessary.
To manage the Team Lead's electronic diary, arranging and minuting meetings as required.
To assist the Team Lead in the continuing development of an effective service in accordance with the Team's defined Operational Policy.
To exchange complex and sensitive written and/or verbal information with team members and other professionals.
To communicate non-clinical advice and information to patients and their relatives.
To exercise judgement when dealing with patient enquiries or problems.
Assisting the Team with the organisation and delivery of the Mental Health Training Programme.
To maintain a stock of stationery and other supplies as required.
To demonstrate own activities, support induction for new members of staff. To assist the team, lead with the duty rotas, cover for staff sickness and also booking shifts on NHSP.
To implement Trust and Team Policies/Procedures and propose changes to practices if necessary.
To report issues which need management attention.
To be aware and sensitive towards those from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
To be able to the Trust's electronic health record systems and accurately enter information.
Answer telephone enquiries/messages and transmit to team members according to priorities; maintaining a helpful and courteous manner at all times.
Distribution and collection of all incoming/outgoing post.
Support team members in liaising with service users/relatives/carers/secretaries/GP's and other relevant Care agencies.
Photocopying and maintaining stocks of relevant forms and leaflets for team use.
To liaise with Estates Department regarding any repairs required within the base in order to maintain a safe working environment.
Manage and update the electronic patient/carers survey on SABP systems.Skills Required:

Good communication skills.
Have excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude.
Excellent I.T skills
Knowledge of EPR, SABP Systems
