About the Role
The Income Recovery and Lettings Manager has a key role in providing a highly professional, customer focussed and efficient income collection service for general needs tenancies, Care and Supported Housing tenancies and licences, parking licences, recharges and former tenant arrears. Also for the allocation and lettings of Hightown`s genral needs rented properties.
The post holder will:
- Manage a team of staff ensuring delivery of high performance lettings and rent collection services
- Ensure all new build and void properties are let quickly and within target times
- Ensure appropriate action is taken to deal with arrears and charges, minimising tenant and service user debt across Hightown`s general needs and Care and Supported housing properties and meeting income collection targets
- Take the lead on Hightown`s response to Welfare Reform, ensuring that effective systems are in place and that housing allocation and rent services reflect legislative and regulatory changes
About you
The post holder will have:
- Experience of working in a busy office environment
- Knowledge of welfare benefits, welfare reform and services to support with debt
- Experience of arrears recovery within a housing setting
- Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills
- Commitment to high standards of service to customers
- Car owner and qualified driver with access to own vehicle
