Associate Teacher in English Salary: £21.29 (Unqualified) £24.63 (Qualified) An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our 16-18 English team, delivering GCSE English and Functional Skills English from entry level to level 2. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment to 16-19 year old students undertaking a Study Programme and adult students undertaking part time maths courses, to maximise achievement and the improvement of skills. Good motivational and classroom management skills are essential. An ability to manage time effectively to complete workload and achieve Key Performance Indicators is required, as are flexibility and being receptive to new ideas and approaches. The successful candidate will be a level 5 qualified teacher (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLLS, QTLS), preferably with a minimum level 3 subject specific qualification in maths.  The closing date for applications is Friday 20th December 2019 at 12 noon with interviews being held on Thursday 9th January 2020.
