This growing, international Fashion E-commerce business operating internationally has a unique opportunity for a part-time Financial Controller to support and report into an experienced CFO.
As the Financial Controller you will get to be part of a supportive and friendly team in a great office space. This FC role can offer very flexible working, ideally suited to someone wishing to work reduced hours or juggling with childcare. This would ideally suit a candidate who does not mind dealing with administrative matters such as invoices/payments as well as higher level tasks such as consolidation, financial analysis and board commentary.
This FC role has been successfully managed by a part-time Financial Controller for the last two years, who has tailored the role days/hours to suit their needs, and this tried and tested method has worked well with the demands from the business.
Management and financial reporting responsibilities:
Preparation of UK entity management accounts
Preparation of Group Accounts and Board Pack
Consolidation of UK and overseas entities
Management of travel and expenses for UK office
Invoices and Payment runs (c. 15 invoices per week)
Preparation of VAT returns
Support CFO with regular and ad-hoc analysis of trading results
Preparation of Annual PLC reports under IFRS
Management of Audit of UK entity, including liaison with Audit Committee and Board
Experience needed:
Qualified Accountant
Some level of responsibility in managing a finance function
Good excel knowledge
SAGE financials experience would be helpful but not critical
Independent worker, good communicator
