Sewing Machinist

gap personnel are currently recruiting for a sewing machinist to work for a busy client based in Newton Abbot.

The duties will include use of manual and automated machinery, meeting targets and deadlines while working well under pressure.

Main Responsibilities:

• Reading and understanding of patterns and fabrics

• Pattern making knowledge

• Taking measurements

• Fitting the garment and making adjustments

The ideal Candidate:

• Good team communication skills

• Able to work efficiently to tight deadlines

• Actively and energetic when developing new projects with the team

• Be open to learn and grow within the areas of business
