Goldhawk Associates are currently supporting a client based in North Kent who are looking to appoint a Company Secretary/Compliance Team Leader. This is a Part-Time opportunity, 3 days a week and they are looking for a senior team member for their company secretarial department.

It is essential that you have and can demonstrate experience in overseeing the company secretarial function for multiple companies, preferably within a professional practice. You will work to support the Compliance Partner and will be independent in your professional capacity and have the ability to make decisions and work independently, the role will include:

Maintaining clients' statutory database and reporting changes to Companies House as required
Incorporating new companies
Ensuring client filing deadlines are met
Dealing with share transactions and corporate restructuring
Working closely with the Corporate Finance team when required
Keeping the partners and staff up to date with changes in statutory requirements and corporate governance
Assisting with the internal compliance function (training will be provided in this area)
Supervising and training our company secretarial assistant
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following qualities:

Good communicator
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong organisation skills
Ability to prioritise workloads.

ICSA qualifications are desirable or other forms of professional qualifications would also be considered.
