Regional Training Manager – based in Malmesbury, Wiltshire with travel

Our HR team are expanding as we continue to develop our People Strategy to support a culture of lifelong learning throughout our business.  We are now recruiting a Regional Training Manager to join our Group Training Team to cover Wessex, Northern Homes Counties and South Midlands.

As a Regional Training Manager you will take the lead in supporting your assigned businesses in developing their people by building their key skills and knowledge. Whilst the role has no line management responsibility first-hand experience in team management within a sales environment would be an advantage. Our Regional Training Managers will primarily support the development of our sales, customer service and office based staff. Covering compliance and personal development training.

The role

As a Regional Training Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, delivering and carrying out full evaluation of bespoke sales and personal development courses in line with the needs of our business and employees
  • Delivery of our Foundations 1 Trainee Sales advisor programme through classroom based modular sessions and 1-2-1 coaching.
  • Developing a business partner relationship with your region and ensuring that they are kept informed of any key development initiatives
  • Organising and managing key programmes including compliance training and soft skills.
  • Delivering training within your region and at various locations throughout the UK

Successful Candidates will have:

  • Relevant training experience gained while working in a sales capacity preferably in the house building sector.
  • Experience of designing and delivering engaging training programmes
  • The ability to work to deadlines and cope well under pressure
  • Planning/prioritising and time management skills
  • A high standard of inter-personal and communication skills supporting an ability at all levels.
  • A tactful and friendly communication style
  • A valid UK Driver’s License is required as training delivery will be conducted at various locations throughout the UK
